Guitarist. Winner of international competitions.

He started studying music at the age of 6. At the age of 12, he started learning to play the guitar from a teacher, V. M. Poznyak.

Later, he successfully graduated from the music school under Professor aleshnikov E. A. and entered the Maimonides state Classical Academy, class of Professor Frauchi A. K.

In parallel with his studies at the Academy, he studied under Camille Arturovich Frauchi, attended master classes by David Russell, Manuel Barueco, Alberto Ponce and other famous guitarists.

Already during his studies, Sergey begins to actively perform concerts.

After graduating from the Academy, teaching at the College is added to performing work.Gnessins, the M. M. Ippolitov-Ivanov music school and work as the musical Director of the "Studio-69" theater.

As a performer, Sergei Meretukov is a guitar in a very wide spectrum of its capabilities.

The musician regularly performs solo programs and concerts of classical guitar and guitar music in Philharmonic halls and various concert venues in our country and abroad.  He successfully toured in many Russian cities: Chita, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Ulan-Ude, Orenburg, Orel and many others, as well as in the countries of the near and far abroad: Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Austria, France, Italy, Sweden, Macedonia, etc.

He takes part in various projects (classical, Blues, folk), takes the stage in different compositions: duets, trios, quartets. Since 2000, she has been working with the people's artist of Russia Lydia Nebaba, a performer of Russian romances.

Engaged in Studio work. Since 2005, he has been an artist-leading master of the stage of the theater "Music and Poetry" under the direction of people's artist of Russia Elena Kamburova.

In 2014, the CD "Music of Latin America"was released.

In 2021, the CD "Music of Spain"was released.
